Our holistic approach to massage is based on our belief that God gave the
human body the incredible ability to heal itself physically and emotionally
when given a safe, caring space in which to do so.

We are very proficient in the art & science of massage and our modalities
include: Swedish, Sports Massage (Pre & Post Event), Deep Tissue, Hot
Stone Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Acutherapy, Chair Massage,
Couple Massage and many more. We believe trained touch is very
important to the well being of each and every person.

Therapeutic Massage:

* Improves circulation and lowers blood pressure
* Enhances sleep and digestion
* Calms the nervous system
* Maintains flexibility and range of motion in joints
* Relaxes muscle spasms to relieve tension and soreness
* Boosts the immune system
* Aids your recovery from pulled muscles or sprained ligaments
* Relieves certain repetitive motion injuries and can prevent injury
* Brings awareness to your sense of well-being
* Detoxifies your body and hydrates your skin
* One hour of massage is equivalent to twenty minutes of exercise

During the massage, your tight muscles tend to relax and the pain associated with chronic
tension is relieved. Increased circulation will supply more oxygen and nutrients to your
muscles and help rid them of metabolic waste. Blocked, deadened areas are thus able to
respond to sensory input again. Massage also stimulates release of the body's own natural
pain killers—the endorphins.

A program of regular massage will put you in touch with your body, teaching you to monitor
its signals. In this way you can avoid the damaging effects of chronic stress and gain some
control over your sense of well-being.

Counter
                                                 Your First Massage Experience

  • On your first visit you will fill out a Client Intake Form. On subsequent visits this will not be necessary,
    unless there are medical or physical changes that your massage therapist needs to be aware of.
    Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment so that massage time is not used to fill
    out the necessary paperwork.

  • The massage therapist will then ask you some questions that are pertinent to the therapy that you are
    requesting. This may include where you are experiencing pain and what type of massage you desire.

  • You will be escorted to a dimly lit room that has soft music playing. You will be instructed on how to lie
    on the massage table. The massage therapist will leave the room so that you can undress, get on the
    massage table, and cover yourself with the sheet or towel provided. The therapist will knock before she
    reenters the room.

  • When the massage therapist comes back into the room she will start the massage.  Conversation is
    usually limited unless initiated by you, the client. Although it is important for you to let the massage
    therapist know if the pressure or strokes being used are too deep, too light or in any way uncomfortable
    for you.  Each massage will be tailored to a specific client's needs and desires. You will remain covered
    by the sheet or towel during the entire massage and only the body parts that are being worked on will
    be exposed. At no time will genitals be exposed and at no time will breasts on women be exposed.

  • After the massage is complete your therapist will leave the room and allow you to get dressed. Be sure
    to get off the table slowly.

  • After you are dressed the therapist will talk briefly with you about the session and future sessions. The
    last thing you will do is offer payment.

  • It is very important to get plenty of rest and drink at least 64 ounces of water over the 24 hours following
    your massage.  You should drink half of your body weight in ounces of water each day as a general
    rule!
